Notes from Germany
I am an American expat living in Germany. It's a far away land on the other side of the ocean. It's interesting and often weird here. If you read this and want to comment then email me at blog(the at symbol)chillmost.com. If you find any spelling or grammar mistakes, you can keep them.

Oh, Tannenbaum
Apparently Germans are way into their Christmas trees
The survey in Thursday's Focus weekly news magazine found 75 percent of Germans could not contemplate Christmas without their beloved "Tannenbaum", the traditional tree many cover lavishly with candles, lights and decorations.Hmm, we don't have one.
But only 65 percent said spending time with relatives was also essential for a good Christmas.
